The rye bread that we serve to our guests, both at breakfast buffet and at gourmet dinner is baked with natural sourdough in a wood stove. The spicy rye from the Upper Austria’s regions 'Wald'- and 'Muehlviertel' is in the 'Erlachmühle', the last working mill in Mondsee region, grounded fresh daily, and baked according to traditional craftsmanship.
The organic beef from Schafleitner in Mondsee is a very special meat for very special occasions at the castle. The cattle enjoy their life on fresh and lush meadows, where only the best food and care is good enough.
