In 1810 the monastery became a castle: Napoleon gave it to the earl Wrede. The mundane life moved into the ancient walls and the people in it traded goods, celebrated big parties and enjoyed the beautiful surrounding. All these things stayed the same and are even more present nowadays.

Today the building hosts various meeting and event rooms. Visitors and customers can use the historical spirit for a motivating and creative teaching, learning and enjoying environment.

For your seminar or congress we offer meeting rooms in various sizes: the “Festsaal”, the “Säulenhalle I + II”, the room “kleiner Tagungssaal”, the “Schatzkammer”, the “Gewölbe”, the room “Drachenwand”, the two librarys, the room “Almeida”, the “Prunkraum I + II” and the “Schlossgarten”.
