The following Terms and Conditions are valid for the providing of the location of the hotel for events and any services related to that (Hotelroombookings etc.). Contracting parties are the event organizer and the Schlosshotel Mondsee. Contracted conditions are only the following.
The Hotel needs at any event where there is food served a guaranteed number of guests. This number must be provided at least 3 working days prior the event. This number will be charged if there are less persons than this guaranteed number. If there are more persons the indeed number will be charged.
The wide assortment of the Hotel is always restricted through seasonal conditions. Due to that it can be the case that some articles may not be deliverable. In that case we reserve us the right to change to equivalent products.
The event organizer is not allowed to bring food and drinks by himself. There can be exceptions if agreed prior the event. In that cases there may be a service- or corkage fee.
Check-In and Check-Out Times
Check-In is at 03:00 p.m. and the Check-out time is at 11:00 a.m.
All prizes are in EURO (€) and including the current VAT. If the prize is excluding VAT it is written separately. The prizes are always without the city tax. If the prizes are not written down in the confirmation of the order they result from the current prize list.
By sending the confirmation (which can be seen as binding contract) we reserve the agreed room contingent and the event rooms.
In case of cancellation we charge:
|From 3 months prior the event:||40 % of the estimated total sales|
|From 1 month prior the event:||70 % of the estimated total sales|
|From 7 days prior the event:||90 % of the estimated total sales|
|No-show:||100 % of the estimated total sales|
The charging of the full cancellation fee will only take place if the hotel cannot sell the hotel rooms or the event rooms to another customer. Every cancellation requires a written message.
In case of cancellation the total costs resulting out of the organization such as the rent of other event locations, technical equipment, music groups etc. have to be paid by the event organizer.
The payment of any services has to be done upon departure, if not contracted otherwise. The event organizer is liable for any further ordered foods, drinks or services by the participants of the event. Received invoices have to be paid prompt and without deduction.
Changes and Adaptations in terms of the event program or the number participating persons may have an adaption of the prize as a result. After sending the confirmation and therefore contracting all changes must be sent per email. The customer is not allowed to undertake changes or deletions, add additional points to the confirmation. Such changes, deletions, additional points would not be valid.
Place of fulfilment and jurisdiction is the location of the hotel. The hotel operates in terms of the Austrian legislation.
The rooming list for group reservations (more than 5 rooms) has to be sent at least 14 days prior arrival to ensure a proper working routine.
Booked Event rooms can only be used at the agreed times. If the location is needed before or after the event it has to be agreed with the Hotel.
To protect our historical walls the attachment of decorative or any other equipment has to be agreed with the hotel. The hotel is pleased to provide pinboards. The event organizer is responsible for any damages caused by the event during the event duration.
The hotel has responsibilities towards its guests and neighbours due to that loud music can only be played until midnight. After that the music has to be regulated in a way that there is no noise heard outside of the eventrooms.
