Events in Winter

As soon as the first snow falls and the houses are decorated with light chains, it’s time for mulled wine at the Mondsee Castle Hotel’s Christmas market. It’s also around this time that the festive choral concerts take place in the hotel’s ceremonial hall.

Come to Mondsee in the cold but romantic season....

• to the Mondseer Advent, which takes place directly in front of the impressive basilica St. Michael and market place of Mondsee
• Advent market at the cloister of the basilica
• and not only the advent concerts at the basilica but also many other events take place during the winter months

If you rather follow the track of Mozart, it is not far to the festival city of Salzburg. Within 30 minutes by car you will reach the centre of Salzburg. On request we organize also a shuttle for you.
