Traveling by Train & Bus

For a relaxed and comfortable journey by public transport, first travel by train to Salzburg Main Station, which is well connected to both national and international rail networks. From there, bus line 140 will take you directly to Mondsee in about one hour.

Alternatively, you can reach Mondsee via Neumarkt am Wallersee Train Station, where bus line 595 provides a convenient connection to the town.

The Mondsee bus terminal is just a short walk from Schlosshotel Mondsee, allowing you to reach your destination easily and without detours. As you travel through the picturesque Salzkammergut region, your holiday begins stress-free, comfortably, and with excellent connections.

Traveling by Plane

The nearest airport is Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart, located just about 30 minutes from Schlosshotel Mondsee. From there, Mondsee is easily accessible by public transport or rental car.

The ticket is valid for the entire duration of your stay – including arrival and departure days – and can be obtained at the hotel reception.
